Well summer sure showed it’s hand on this particular weekend, with hot gazing sunshine to fill the weekend of racing and fun at Mission Raceway, for the Smoke Fire & Thunder, featuring Jet Cars, Wheel Standers, Pro Street and Nostalgia Funny Cars.

Saturday Aug 27th – The day started out with “Investors Group” setting up their tent with their invited clients in attendance for the IG – BBQ at the track and the clients getting to enjoy the events of the day and evening. The feature cars sure put on a great show for all in attendance.

We’d like to thank “Investors Group” for all their support and showing their clients what we, Team Nasty Fish, are all about.

Sunday Aug 28th – Team Nasty Fish elimination day results are as follows…

Phil – WINS in Sportsman class
Guy – 4 rounds in Pro
Emmett – 3 rounds in S/Pro
Brad – 3 rds in Pro & 1 rd in Hot Rod
Dave – 2 rds in Pro
Vicki – 1 rd in S/Pro
Ryan – 1 rd in S/Pro
Kelly – 1 rd in Sportsman

With only two weekends (four races) left in our 2011 track points race season at Mission Raceway, Sept 17/18 and Oct 1/2, will be fun filled, with some top ten Nasty Fish points earners vying to stay or get on the top of the Mission Raceway points list in their respective classes!

Phil – 1st place in his class of Sportsman, which he has a big lead over second place.
Brad – 2nd place in Hot Rod
Vicki – 3rd place in S/Pro
Kelly – 10th place in Sportsman
