Saturday – is just a time trial day and party evening. This day, since Vicki could not race her 71 Demon she decided to cook a turkey dinner (with all the yummy trimmings) for the Nasty Fish Team and friends. Woodburn Dragstrip, Woodburn Oregon
government,politics news,politics news,politicsNasty Fish Racing made the trek to Woodburn Oregon to race in the NHRA Div.6 event July 14-17, taking two cars, Guy & his 68 Dart and Dave racing the 69 Camaro. Once there, Guy got his engine back from the famous engine builder Steve Wann of CA and the guys installed it in the morning and had it running in time for the Thursday test session. Both cars ran great in testing and in qualifying Thursday – Saturday, which Guy qualified in the middle of the Stock Eliminator class. “Reg’s Last Ride”
government,politics news,politics news,politicsSaturday July 2nd 2011 – Team Nasty Fish and friends got together for “Reg’s Last Ride”, a special tribute to the late Reg Wilson, former Nasty Fish teammate, who passed away of cancer in January. Team Nasty Fish and friends made a slow trek down the race track while commentary was being announced by Rick Farmer, telling the crowd about Reg’s racing life and what a special friend he was to us all. Race 6… Summit ET Racing

Ryan Johnston driving the 69 Camaro in Super Pro did a superb job, he got down to 3 cars in the class and lost a close one in the semi final round. He earned his first winnings in only his second weekend of racing in the class. Phil Marvetz lost his race in the quarter finals.
