It’s a pleasure once again being one of the 2011 race season core sponsors of Guy and Amy Johnston’s Nasty Fish Racing Team. The team will be fielding four highly competitive NHRA drag race cars this season [Click Here to check out NFR Cars]. They will be campaigning at 12 major race weekends across the Pacific North West [Washington state and British Columbia] from May thru October. The 2011 season adds yet another year to Nasty Fish Racing’s 30 plus years of NHRA race involvement.
Two of this year’s sponsors, The Captain with Remax plus Ross Mckenzie and Bryn Hamilton with Investor’s Group, have had a multiyear involvement with Nasty Fish Racing. The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Union was first welcomed to our “sponsorship team” in 2010. The union’s leadership and members have been a welcome addition at the various race weekends.
Our collective sponsorship helps Nasty Fish Racing field, run and maintain four highly equipped and competitive race cars. In return we have the opportunity to indulge our mutual passions for all things racing as well as meeting some great like minded people at the various events. It’s even producing very positive business opportunities as we meet many new, interesting and often affluent individuals. All in all, a fantastic endeavor for sponsors and racers alike as we all go great places and do jolly fun things with thousands of like minded race enthusiasts.
